Christopher Chico

Coach Chico began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2020 alongside his family. He enjoys both the physical and mental challenges that come with training and developing new skills. As an instructor, he assists with the kids’ classes and coaches the kids’ No-Gi program.

Jiu-Jitsu has strengthened his bond with his family and introduced him to a community where he has built many lifelong friendships. What he enjoys most about coaching is watching both children and adults grow in confidence as they develop new skills that positively impact other areas of their lives.

Coach Chico hopes parents recognize not only their children’s progress on the mats, but also the friendships they build, the resilience they develop through overcoming challenges, and the joy they experience while learning in a supportive environment.
