Women's Self Defense

Every Friday @ 5:15pm

Start your journey!

Our women's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) self-defense class is an empowering and educational experience that aims to teach women valuable skills that can be used to practically defend themselves in potentially dangerous situations. BJJ is a martial art that focuses on grappling techniques and is particularly effective in close-range situations against a larger opponent.

In this class, you will learn the confidence and skills needed to protect yourself in a variety of situations. BJJ techniques emphasize leverage and body positioning, making it possible for a smaller person to successfully defend themselves against a larger and stronger attacker. You will also improve your physical fitness and overall health. BJJ is a full-body workout that can help build strength, endurance, and flexibility. Additionally, practicing BJJ can be a great stress reliever and provide a sense of community and belonging.

We invite any woman who is interested in learning practical self-defense, improving their physical fitness and overall health, and developing important skills, to try it out!  Class is donation based with proceeds going to the Take the Back Fundraiser program.
